Hey drillers,
In this video, we’re going to go over the tricks required for the Yellow Sling qualification.
There are two sections to this qualification. The first section consists of 5 mandatory tricks, starting with:
- Backey Forthey
- Square TikTok
- Half Beat to Right Shoulder
- Statue of Liberty or Single Right Shoulder Toss
- Single Side Toss
The "Or" designation means you must perform one or the other trick for qualification, but not both. It usually accompanies tricks that are achieved in similar ways but have a variation large enough to be known as its own trick.
The next section is a pick 1 section. There are several tricks listed – and I’ll perform all of them for this video overview – but you’ll only need to perform one of them for qualification. The tricks you have to choose from are:
- Waterfall
- Right-Hand Rising Sun or Fire Knife
- Twisty
And that’s it. Your qualification video should consist of 6 tricks total.
The yellow sling qualification is pass/fail and it’s reviewed privately off-stream. Upload your video to YouTube and use the submission box on the Yellow Sling page to submit. You should have a response within 1-7 days – though it could take longer.
