After the Supreme Court ordered one year jail imprisonment to Gopal Ansal in connection to the Uphaar tragedy, convenor of the case, Neelam Krishnamoorthy, termed the judgment as extremely disappointing, adding that she has lost faith in the judiciary. Krishnamoorthy, from the Association Victims of Uphaar Tragedy (AVUT), further said that it was her biggest mistake approaching the court to get justice.
