Firstly, I'd like to say THANK YOU!!! I have officially crossed the 1000 Subs threshhold!! And also, I appreciate all of the new and current viewers to my little upstart channel! This foray into the world of content creation and YouTube has been a labor of love and fortitude, and as terrifying as it has been to start, your affirmation and encouragement has emboldened me.

Secondly - This film surprised me, the best ways. As a woman, I know what it is like to occupy this space - where you see yourself as never enough, constantly tweaking, seeking a happy medium. I hate it - but our society put a premium on beauty (common in declining cultures) and women suffer the brunt of that more than men. I feel that this movie captured the dissonance we suffer from - both inflicted upon and internalized by us. The visuals aren't even the most confronting part - it was the constant need to please those around us, but aesthetics, deportment and atttitude. That was the real horror this film conveyed to me. SENSATIONAL WORK by Margaret Qualley and Demi Moore. The Awards campaigns begins with them...
