Paul Michel '66, who held the nation's top judicial position focused on intellectual property law matters as chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 2005-10, delivered the keynote address at a symposium hosted by the Virginia Journal of Law & Technology. The event, "Copy Right, Patent Wrong? How Special Interests Are Influencing Intellectual Property Laws," held on Oct. 26, 2012, also featured a panel on patent law and a panel on copyright and Internet law.
