The little 500 is the largest intramural event in the country. Each year 25,000 students gather to watch 33 student bike teams sprint 200 laps around a 1⁄4 mile race track in Bloomington Indiana.
The students and coaches that participate in this event train year-round without professional facilities, equipment, scholarship or salary.
This begs the question, “Why do they do it?” This short documentary would aim to answer this question by exploring the drive and desire through the lens of one team. . . the Cutters.
