When we have elements with shadows on them, and we animate them and want to have a realistic sense of depth, ideally, we also need to animate the shadow itself. This poses a problem though because, from a performance perspective, animating shadows is a terrible idea. That means we get to have fun coming up with a better solution though 🙂.
