These mid-winter crappie/bluegill patterns will be catching fish from late December all the way through February. (BTW, Check out all the gear used in this video by using links below!!) Throughout the ice belt certain populations of panfish suspend out over the basin while other groups of fish stay near shallow weeds. Some crappies respond much better at night than during the day.
