The Urisk (Ùruisg, ùraisg, urisg, urisk, ourisk) commonly appears as a half man/half goat looking creature, similar to the satyr of Greek mythology. Some have compared the general attitude of Urisk with that of the brownie. A Scottish house fae, that tends to be very friendly and aids in chores. The Urisk, although looking nothing like a common brownie, has a similar friendly attitude and a reputation for being a good, humoured sloth. Where this comparison slips are in the preferred habitat of the Sith. This rough haired spirit comes from the thick forests of the Scottish Highlands, and much prefers remote isolated lochs and rivers. It was commonly spotted during the evening sitting atop a rock or hill, observing any intruders to its land. Some Urisk would talk with the travellers, others would act as guides and others would thrash those that disturbed its isolation, but mostly it did not meddle in the affairs of passers-by.
