Before heading to a long day of being on the sea, fisherfolk take their time to mend their nets. A good, healthy catch relies on a sturdy net. This act of mending nets or “paghahayuma” is at the core of our call for international solidarity for the protection of the globally-significant Verde Island Passage from the threats of fossil gas expansion.
