The Centre has allowed two special trains to run during the lockdown to facilitate posting of soldiers to the borders. Close 1200 officers and jawans were undergoing training in Bengaluru, Belgaum and Secunderabad when the lockdown was announced. The govt will run two trains, one to Guwahati and the other to Jammu. The decision has been taken to meet the operational requirements of the Army's Northern and Eastern command, according to reports. The Railways and the Army will be responsible for the sanitisation of the coaches and to maintain physical distance only 40 jawans will be accommodated in a coach with a capacity of 72.
