BMW M2 – Minor correction detail with 2-year ceramic protective coating

Long beach blue on an M2 is one of those combinations you have to have on your portfolio as a detailer, and thankfully we ticked it off at last. This job definitely had some sketchy logistics and planning, the most part being that the owner now lives the other side of the UK. Thankfully we were able to pull the trigger on this and had impeccable timing on both parts to pull this off.

The car needed a moderate heavy cut due to the hard BMW paint to remove some deeper defects, but we also got great results as a single stage machine polish. We did however add a ceramic prep stage using an ultra fine finishing polish which packs a whole lot of gloss. Locked all this in with 2 layers of C-quartz ceramic coating and a top layer of Si02 for curing time over the next week.

- Wheels chemically decontaminated
- 2 Stage chemical paint decontamination
- Clay bar treatment to remove contaminate
- Post rinse with de-ionised water
- Dried using luxury towel and air blower
- Paint inspection and polishing/pad combo test set
- Single stage machine polish – medium cut
- Paint prepped with ceramic primer high gloss polish
- 2 layer of Carpro Cquartz ceramic coating
- Top coat of Sio2 3-month booster to protect curing process
- Interior detail
- Tres dressed and glossed
