Top Tips The Helped Me Juggle Like a Bona-fide Clown:
1. Start small and easy, just toss one ball from your left to right hand getting the feel for the throw. You are always catching the throwing instrument in the opposite hand you threw from.
2. Hold a ball in each hand and continue tossing one ball from hand to hand to practice catching with your hands a bit overwhelmed.
3. Hold two juggling balls in your dominant hand and one ball in your non-dominant hand. Throw two balls and stop (Throw#1: dominant hand, Throw#2 non-dominant hand) catch each ball with the opposite hand you threw with. Then stop, reset, and repeat.
4. Once you're comfortable with two throws move up to three throws and three catches. Always alternating with hand is throwing on each.
5. Move up and the number of throws and catches from 3 to 5 to 7 to 9.
6. Try and keep a consistent flight path in which you throw with each hand. For me, I always throw with my right hand farther away from my body that way the juggling balls are less likely to collide mid-air.
7. Join circus.
