When researching what some of the best elite runners in the U.S. do, I was unsurprised to see that many don't follow a traditional 7-day cycle. However, I really liked how Nell Rojas explained her two-week cycle, as it's something that could work for people who can't do a long run mid-week. It's something I sometimes use for my athletes as well. (Depends on the person and situation.)
