I have used manufactured spending to earn thousands of dollars in rewards and free travel with little to no effort but this is definitely a gray area in the credit card space that some say is illegal others say is absolutely genius and with so many different ways to go about this it can all be a little confusing. So today we're going to answer all of your questions regarding manufactured spending and show you how to safely and legally earn thousands of dollars using this strategy.

Some of the more old school strategies that you may have heard of would be purchasing something like a money order, funding a bank account with a credit card, or purchasing a ridiculous amount of gift cards using a credit card and while some of the strategies may still work depending on the products that you use, in my opinion, most of the credit card providers have wised up to these strategies and will usually either come out ahead by charging you high fees or just not allowing the transaction to go through in the first place.

Alright so at this point you're probably slightly aggravated and wondering are there actually any real ways to go about manufactured spending but don't worry the answer is yes. There's a ton of different methods that are legitimate and realistic but there are two that I personally use to earn thousands and thousands of dollars in rewards without ever running into any headaches and without ever having a credit card account closed. The first of which is by using a service called plastiq. This service essentially allows you to pay large bills and make payments using your credit card in situations that would otherwise require an ACH transfer or a check.

The other legitimate strategy that I have used and had a lot of success with is purchasing physical goods for your business for resale using a credit card. Again this one can apply in a million different cases but in my case, when I was in college before I started this YouTube channel I used to buy and sell laptops in order to make some money on the side. So I was constantly buying Macbooks that were anywhere from $500 to $3000 and then reselling them for a profit. so not only was I making several hundred on each flip but by making those initial purchases on a credit card I also earned thousands of dollars in cash back and rewards by purchasing a good for a business on my credit card before selling that good for a profit.
