✏️ABOUT THIS CASE👇
Patient who is around 22 years old with a nail with a abrupt edge and who comes to the consultation with lateral onychocryptosis in the right hallux and granuloma in the lateral groove, because the nail was cut incorrectly.
I proceed very carefully to decompress the area and remove the spicule embedded in the groove.
Once this is done, I proceed with the bandage, and I indicate the daily care that must be taken until definitive healing.

Regarding the use of anesthesia, which is something that I am asked very often...
In Argentina, podiatrists are prohibited from using injectable anesthesia in procedures. This is why I do not use anesthesia and I try to be extremely careful during the procedure so as not to cause pain. They are not painful procedures.
You can corroborate this in the videos that have the sound of the camera👇
