Tretten Bridge Collapsed in Norway, which shocked Norwegians and tourists who ever passed Tretten and saw this wooden bridge.

However, it appeared that a similar accident happened in 2016 when Perkolo wooden bridge collapsed just 70 km north of Tretten due to a defective joint in the framework.

We took a trip to witness the extent of the accident and see the bridge before it will be dismantled as it is not clear if a similar bridge will be built or if authorities will avoid wooden bridges in the future.

Luckily no physically injured persons in this accident. One car and one truck were stuck on the bridge.
