Members of Parliament have supported a call for regulations around how DNA services are procured. This after the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa showed concern at reports of mistreatment of innocent children and men, some of whom have been left on the verge of committing suicide. The majority of the MPs we talked to argued that the conduct of DNA tests by families is unnecessary.
