Todays video we are doing a quick and easy - almost no tools required - upgrade to our RV fold down steps. Our steps our made by MoRyde and are metal with anti skid tape applied. But we have found that to be a bit slippery at times and hard to clean. We saw some other campers on YouTube apply similar material and thought we would give it a try. We chose the Oceanbroad brand as it was a great price, had enough material for 4 steps (or would allow us to mess up a few times!), was the approx depth of our steps and matched the camper nicely.
We walk you through what we did to apply and after 2 months of varying weather conditions, give a review on how they have held up. We also do some anti slip testing.
And to have a little fun - we recreated the fall Linda took off those steps last year (she is fully fine except for ego and a small scar on her elbow!) and have some fun with it. Don't forget to check out the blooper reel at the end and vote in the comments for who was better at the reenactment!
As always - thanks for watching and Happy Camping!
