How to Fix a check engine light on a 2011-2016 VW Touareg (Works on Gasoline and Diesel SUVs)

First thing you should buy an injector cleaner (Fuel Therapy). Read instructions on how to apply... While driving your Touareg a few miles after the fuel therapy usage, it should make the check engine light go off but it will not fix the problem.

You must also purchase its fuel filter which most likely is the problem of the check engine light being on (it's recommended to be changed every 10k-20k miles).

Purchase also extra diesel. You'll need to dip in the new fuel filter before reinstalling in its reservoir. Make sure the filter is full of fuel first, Gas or Diesel whichever runs your SUV.
