Bhrahma Dev’s son Daksha had several daughters and he married them off to Sage Kasyap.
Kasyap maharshi and one of the daughters of Daksha - Aditi had many children and one of them was Vivasvan or Suryadev or Sun God. Surya Dev married Saranya and their son was Manu.
Manu married sradda . They had two sons Ikshvaku and Ila. Ikshvaku built suryavamsa.
Ila built chandramash. Ila transformed to a woman and married to Budha, son of Chandra. Their son was Pururava. Pururuva married apsara Urvasi and they had a son Ayu
Ayu married Indumati and they had a son Nahusha
Nahusha married Viraja (Asokasundari) and they had a son Yayati

Kuru married Shubhangi and their son was Vidhurath.
Vidhurath married Sampriya and their son was Anaswan.
Anaswan married Amrita and their son was Parikshit I.
Parikshit I married Suyasha and their son was Bheemsen I.
Bheemsen I married Kumari and their son was Pratishrabha.
Pratishrabha grandson was Pratipa. Pratipa married Sunanda and their son was Shantanu.
Shantanu married Ganga and Satyavati.
Gangas son is Bhishma and Satyavati had sons Vichitraveerya and Chitrangada
Vichitraveerya married Ambika and Ambalika. Vichitraveerya died without children.
So Vyasa another son of Satyavathi gave a son Drutarashtra in Ambika and Pandu in Ambalika and another son Vidura in a maid.
Dritarashtra married Gandari and they had 100 sons including Duryodhana and Dussasana and a daughter dussala. Dritarashtra had another son Yuyutsu in a maid Sugadha.
Pandu married Kunti and Madri
Kunti had 3 sons Yudhistira, Bheema and Arjuna in their celestial fathers Yama, Vayu and Indra respectively. Kunti had another son Karna in Suryadev before her marriage.
Madri had 2 sons Nakula and Sahadeva in their celestial fathers Aswini Devas
Pandus five sons are called pandavas and Dritarashtras 100 sons are called Kauravas.
Pandavas married Draupati and each had 1 son each in Draupati.
