Controversy still surrounds the leadership of Philip Kinisu at the EACC, especially after a statement indicating that he had resigned surfaced. Kinisu disowned the statement, that purportedly announced his resignation to allow for investigations into his dealings with NYS.
The EACC also disowned the letter, though a source tells us, it was drafted by one of the commissioners, to keep up the pressure to push Kinisu out of office.
