Welcome to another Royal Romance Series, today we feature Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.
He was a Prince, she was a single mother working as a waitress, they met in1999 introduced by mutual friends, the rest is history.
They were engaged in December, 2000 and married on August 25th, 2002 at the Oslo Cathedral in Oslo, Norway.
They now have two children together:
Princess Alexandra born January 21st, 2004
Prince Sverre Magnus born 3rd December, 2005.
