They are written in hiragana and katakana, but serve only as pronunciation. The words have no meaning and are only meant to sound like Japanese. A song about winning battles, played at the end of Splatfest turf wars (it's also played during the character creator screen but that's beside the point).

Fourth time's the charm I guess for trying to export this damn thing. This would have been up two days ago were it not for several errors, crashes, and my own stupid mistakes. But in the end I can't be in a bad mood looking at Pearl and Marina being adorable.

All of the visuals are promotional Splatfest art. Just applied an overlay mode with a Gaussian blur and some movement to make them a little more interesting than static images.
