Most important thing to take away from this video: if you are trying to chop up a melodic sample or break (as opposed to a drum kit), you should record it into a melodic slot first! Trim your sample to the exact 4 bars/measures that you want to slice while it is in the melodic slot (1-8) and THEN copy it to a drum sound slot (9-16). This way, you wont need to manually fiddle with the start and end points of your slices, it should be in perfectly timed sections already.
