Former No.10 chief advisor Dominic Cummings has shredded into the government's pandemic response, in a marathon evidence session before MPs.

Cummings made several dramatic claims about the government's inner workings over the last year, mainly focused on the actions of prime minister Boris Johnson and health secretary Matt Hancock.
