Windy but much warmer weather is expected around the area Wednesday. After a very cold night tonight, south winds of up to 30 mph will kick in Wednesday afternoon. Highs will hit the mid 40s under mostly sunny skies.
An area of low pressure is expected to bring rain to the region Thursday with isolated thunderstorms possible. Despite clouds and precipitation highs will still make it above 50.
The storm system will move east Thursday night producing another cold and rather brisk day Friday. Highs will likely remain in the 40s.
