The Somnath Beach on Arabian Sea is located near the Somnath Temple in the town of Somnath, Gujarat, India. This extremely beautiful beach is named after the sacred Somnath Temple. It is renowned for its crystal clear water and beautiful white sand.

Somnath Beach is known for its sparkling waves, clear waters and long stretches of fine sand. The view of the beach is spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. The place is crowded by devotees who visit the pristine beach of Somnath to spend some time in solitude in the embrace of nature. The entire stretch of the Somnath Beach is without any trace of shade but tourists don't generally get bothered by the sun because of the cool breeze that blows across the beach.

Somnath Beach is not ideal for swimming as the waves are very high and violent. However tourists come to this seaside destination to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. The sight of witnessing the rise and fall of thunderous waves is a very exhilarating experience, one that will leave you spellbound for long. While on the beach, one can enjoy the scrumptious spread of food at the local stalls along with bumpy camel rides.
