We, humans, have the option to opt-out of surgeries but dogs don't.
In our satisfaction greed, we put our pet dogs at the great suffering of some hurtful disfiguring surgeries to give them a particular appearance. But so many of us have questions in our mind, Is tail docking and ear cropping legal?
The American Kennel Club and other Pedigree Organisations have allowed some dog breeds like Doberman, pitbull, rottweiler, American bully to have cosmetic requirements including ear cropping and tail docking, aka bobbing until and unless you are competing in a dog show or any other event. Otherwise, it is not necessary to get your dog's ear cropped or tail cut.
