This is the new YELLOW BRICK CYCLE LANE outside Lime street Station and St Georges Hall Liverpool, the area used to be a 5 lane roadway, now reduced in width to a 2 lane roadway bidirectional, with added cycle lane.
From the start the work is of a high quality, but of a poor design 90 degree bends narrow on corners, and it starts and stops at bad junctions for some reason
The whole area has been re vamped with new slab seating but no seats with backs or arms for older people, who may not be able to get up off a slab.
Dont know why they have gone for yellow bricks as opposed to tarmac for the cycle route unless its easier to rip up and fix stuff underneath.
