The images show 184 iconic places around the world with current-day sea levels. You can swipe to compare and contrast how those places will look with unavoidable 1.1°C warming (above preindustrial levels) due to past pollution, if we sharply cut pollution to keep warming at 1.5°C (which is the recommendation from the Paris Agreement), or if we keep our current carbon path that leads to 3°C of warming.
