At Holyrood this week Tory MSP, Sandesh Gulhane, asked the government if WhatsApp message's between ministers were open to Freedom of Information requests and that they wouldn't be 'lost or inadvertently deleted'.
Mr Gulhane continued 'Given the First Minister had no minutes of her meetings regarding ferries, cabinet secretary potentially conducting ministerial business over text, we are obviously concerned that there is no paper trail and things are hiding.'
