To celebrate the announcement of round one of our Future Leaders Fellowship, we sat down with some of the newly appointed Fellows to discuss what #UKRIFLF means to them.
Professor Fiona Watt, UKRI's Executive Champion for Talent and Skills, talks us through this short video where we meet Dr James Lea from the University of Liverpool, Dr Sarah Lloyd Fox from the University of Cambridge and Dr Paul Donaldson from UKRI's very own #Science and #Technology Facilities Council.
The prestigious Future Leaders Fellowships, supported by a £900 million investment fund, provide #researchers and #innovators from diverse backgrounds and career paths with the flexibility and time they need to make progress on truly challenging questions.
