A piece of shocking news comes to light from Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district where there was an open auctioning of Panchayat seats. This comes ahead of the local Gram panchayat polls which are scheduled on the 27th of December.
The video of auctioning seats went viral, following which an FIR has been registered. In the video, a person is seen announcing the auction price along with the candidate’s name. The auction winners are elected unopposed by voters.
