Child: The humanity of Christ
Son: The deity of Christ

Jesus is 100% God and 100% man.

The government: Jesus is God who is Sovereign (Matthew 28:18)

Wonderful: Jesus is Wonderful. He left heaven’s glory (Isaiah 6:1-3) and condescended to be a man, so that He could have flesh and blood to die for our sins, as our perfect Substitute and sinless sacrifice. He paid the price of all our sins in full.

Counsellor: Jesus is God and has all wisdom and counsel; because of Christ, God the Holy Spirit dwells in all true believers of Jesus. He counsels them through God’s Word. (John 14:26)

The mighty God: Jesus is God and He is Almighty.

The everlasting Father: Jesus is the Giver of everlasting life to all those who trust in Him as their only Saviour. (Read John 10:28)

The Prince of Peace: Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, sinners can be reconciled with God (be at peace with God) by believing in Jesus as their only Saviour.
