They emphasized the need for dialogue between President William Ruto and his deputy, stating that impeachment would jeopardize national unity and derail development. The clergy also strongly opposed the Religious Organizations Bill 2024, sponsored by Senator Danson Mungatana, calling it punitive and unconstitutional for its attempt to micromanage religious organizations.
