The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Vintage Black", introduced in 2015, is one of the blacked-out versions of the all-ceramic Speedy from 2013. Generously sized at 44.25mm, it is also an ode to the historical Apollo 8 mission of 1968 while taking inspiration from the Earth's nighlight.

Much like other Dark Side of the Moon watches, this watch features a black ceramic case and bezel, an engraved caseback, and large pushers. What makes it unique is the brown indices and hands on the dial and bezel, the vintage Super-LumiNova tachymeter scale, and the brown leather strap which gives the watch a distinctive retro appeal.

Matt ceramic black dial with brown luminescent hands and index hour markers. Blackened central hands. Two subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock for 60-second and 12-hour with brown hands. Date display at 6 o'clock aperture. Brown leather strap with ceramic deployant clasp.
