Here’s a Korean-made, 1990 Samick HJRG-302 hollowbody electric guitar — their clone of a Gibby L-5-style box. It’s got dual buckers, a soft cutaway, 25 1/2” scale, subtle bling, and a great sound.
I just went through and replaced everything bad on the harness — new 500k pots with orange drop caps, Switchcraft jack, etc. — gave it a level/dress of the frets, adjusted the setup, and now it’s ready to go and playing like a boss and sounding better than I’ve heard it in the time I’ve known it (a few years).
It comes with a good hard case and is currently setup with roundwound 11s or 12s with a wound G. This has been a decades-long bruiser for its original owner but I recently got it traded-in.
