This is a song by Trijntje Oosterhuis. She sings a text, a poem written by her father Huub Oosterhuis. Is is a former priest and a poet. He is also the man behind the student church here in Amsterdam. He believes the Bible has the power to liberate people. He is politically involved, especially for the refugees here in Holland.

This song is my favourite. It has an overwhelming meaning for me. And it gives me comfort when I need it.
