In a game with FCS playoff implications James Madison (8-3, 5-2 CAA) rolled over the Spiders 55-20. Vad Lee passed for over 400 hundred yards, including a 93 yard TD pass to D. Brown to open the Dukes scoring. The JMU defense also forced five Spider turnovers, two of which were interceptions returned for TDs by T. Reynolds. Leading 31-20 at the half JMU's only turnover gave the Spiders a chance to pull within a score, but they fumbled at the goal line. JMU never looked back out scoring Richmond (7-4, 4-3 CAA) 24-0 in the second half.
