Lynn Community Television partnered with the Marblehead League of Women Voters on this forum with candidates running to be the next State Representative of the 8th Essex District. This forum will be held LIVE on August 17, 2022 at 7PM at LCTV’s studios. During the forum candidates answered questions on a variety of issues including the condition of beaches, infrastructure issues, & more.
The 8th Essex District covers all of Swampscott & Marblehead and covers Ward 3 Precinct 4 & Ward 4 Precinct 4 in Lynn. The candidates for this race are Jenny Armini, Diann Baylis, Tristan Smith, Terri Tauro, Doug Thompson, & Polly Titcomb.

The primary for this election will be held on Sept. 6th with the General election on November 8th. Please note no Republican candidates are on the ballot, meaning whoever wins the Primary wins the seat.
