I recently found out that Frank Adamson has sadly passed away. I always intended when making this channel to put this video up and never got round to it. Well, I'm finally doing it.
I only met Frank once, but I consider it two of the most precious hours of my Cue Sports career, and even my life.
RIP Frank Adamson.

For my birthday in 2014, my partner booked me two hours with Ronnie O'Sullivan's old coach Frank Adamson.
He kindly allowed us to record the session, although at the time we didn't have decent cameras that could record for more than a few minutes at a time, hence why the session is broken up and incomplete.
Here he gives some insight into 'pushing' the cue ball, rather than hitting at it, squeezing the fingers at the back to get more bite into the cue ball, fixing my high back hand (which now I've started playing English Pool again seems to have reappeared) and working on some positional play.
I've probably watched these clips 50 times over the past decade and it took me a while but they have helped me get my cue power back, which at the time I was really struggling with.
Unfortunately, at the time money was a concern and also I was living away from home but still an hour from South West Snooker Academy. By the time I was working in Cheltenham and was able to go there more regularly they had scaled back and Frank was no longer offering his coaching services there.
I also really miss that place. A proper Snooker player's venue (not that I was ever a proper Snooker player).
