One of the milestones of accessible education is literacy. It is at the core of NorArar Education’s project. Literacy is more than the ability to read, understand and write short statements fluently. To a large extent, it affects the development of key skills, such as analysis, critical examination of information, and making of informed conclusions.
According to the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) analysis, nearly 35% of the elementary school students in Armenia have difficulty reading and understanding simple texts 📖.
Based on the data received from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, if all the 15-year-old teenagers in Armenia could pass the elementary stage of mathematics and reading, then the economy in Armenia would increase by 293% 📈.
