Queen Rania of Jordan warmly greeted German Chancellor Angela Merkel as they attended an award ceremony at an Italian convent earlier today. Rania, 48, looked effortlessly chic a petrol-blue midi dress paired with a matching boucle cropped jacket and light blue suede heels. Rania's husband King Abdullah II was presented with the Lamp of Peace of St Francis of Assisi in Assisi, central Italy, in recognition of the king's human rights efforts. Later in the day, Rania and King Abdullah travelled to the Elysee Presidential Palace in Paris (pictured) to see President Emmanuel Macron (left and right) for an official meeting.
