Hyper Light Drifter is an isometric ARPG that released in 2016, and I believe it to be a great example of video games as art. With its unique storytelling, beautiful pixel art, incredible music by Disasterpeace and fun action combat, Hyper Light Drifter is a very special game that deserves to be recognized and remembered, even today in 2024.
