This is the rafting part of our Tour in Bhutan. Our client was the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dhaka University. Thanks to THM department for choosing us.
This is a must-do. We started with Rafting in the MoChu (Female) River which is better if you haven't done Rafting before. For those who are comfortable with Rafting, do go for the Pochu (Male River). The staff make sure you wear all safety gear and give you detailed instructions before beginning.
It is a 12km Rafting session which takes approximately 60-70 minutes.
You will get wet so carry clothing accordingly. Approximate cost $200 per session with a raft good to carry at least 6-8 pax.
River rafting is one of the most adventurous activities in Bhutan. Punakha is home to meandering PhoChu and MoChu River. The white water rafting is very popular thus many adventurous seekers look forward to raft with rapids. The river float is a scenic one and while on the river you get the opportunity to see lots of birds.
