Looking to bring an old waterproof jacket back to life? We put Nikwax to work and then put Max in the firing line to test it out!

You can't always guarantee a beautifully dry sunny day when you want to venture outside so, a reliable rain jacket that keeps you dry is an essential, but did you know that the water-repellency of waterproof gear doesn’t last forever? But just because a jacket’s old it does not mean you need to replace it. And it is a lot easier to reproof your old waterproof jacket than you would think. It is pretty easy to do; it is far more cost-effective than buying a new one and it is much better for the planet to refresh and recycle.

We created a simple experiment to find out the difference between a Nikwax-treated waterproof jacket and a non-treated jacket. Plus I took it a step further and got to throw a bucket of water at Max (which is still hilarious)... See what we found in this video.
