The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is running a public consultation on the draft Surf Coast Statement of Planning Policy (SPP).
The draft Surf Coast SPP seeks to ensure long-term protection of the declared area’s unique coastal environments, cultural heritage, natural resources and townships. It includes a 50-year vision, objectives and strategies to achieve the vision and a declared area framework plan for facilitating an integrated approach to decision-making by relevant responsible public entities.
