1. Cut the rubber carefully loose from the speaker
2. Cut the rubber carefully loose from the metal speakerframe
3. Apply special speaker-glue to both the inner ring of the new rubber suspension and the outer side of the cardboard/foam speaker-cone. By metal speaker-cone apply only to the rubber.
4.the glueing. The bottom centring suspension will keep the cone centred, so put the new rubber onto the cone and centre by hand and eye so the distance from the outer side of the rubber suspension to the holes in the metal frame are equal. Press softly onto the rubber so the glue sticks to the cone, over a period of 15 minutes. It will be easy to use a circular form, like a cup or plastic container, the size slightly bigger than the inner rubber, which has some weight in order to press the inner rubber onto the cone. while being accurately centred in position, press firmly down and up and feel if the spool on the cone is touching the magnet. Do not force in any direction. make sure you do not feel scratching of the spool.
5. If all is in place properly leave it to dry for at least 24 hours in order to enjoy the fantastic sound these speakers produce.
