Biscuitroots are a group of low-growing Carrot family plants, many found in the prairie and the desert Southwest, that have edible roots you can boil as a vegetable or dry and grind into a flour for baked goods. In this video, I show two closely-related Cymopterus species. Please only dig these native root vegetables where plentiful and thriving and do Nature a favor by planting the seeds back in the hole.
