Ratko Mladic's lawyer says he has lodged an appeal against the Bosnian Serb wartime general's extradition to the Hague. It could take up to four days for a decision to come through.
The 69-year-old's family and legal counsel say he is in poor mental health and is too sick to be extradited to the International Criminal Tribunal.
The court in The Hague indicted Mladic for genocide over the siege of Sarajevo and the massacre at Srebrenica, both during the 1992-95 war in Bosnia.
